Town Teteven is situated in the North-West ot Bulgaria, in the Central part of the Balkan, on the upper part of the river Vit, 110 km to the East of Sofia. It’s altitude is 418 m. The Teteven’s region is small but very beautiful. The Teteven’s gimnasium “Georgi Benkovski” is situated in the Northern part of the town, under the picturesque peaks of “Ostrech” and “Cherven”, in the place “Prokop” – a steep and quiet place, shined on by the sun all the day. The building of the gimnasium is built with all the rules of the modern architecture.
